The stylized open-world shooter from Xbox, Sunset Overdrive releases a new DLC expansion that promises longer hours of playtime and challenges – The Mystery of the Mooil Rig. It is now available in Xbox Store for $10.

"Once you've downloaded The Mystery of the Mooil Rig (and once you've completed the "A New Friend" mission in the main game), you'll find a new mission notification on the map directing you to the FizzCo internet café," the Xbox blog writes.

Aside from the extended playing hours, The Mystery of the Mooil Rig also offers a variety of items that fans will enjoy.

"In addition to some new weapons, amps, and vanity items, you'll also find a full Chaos Squad mission and a Night Defense base, as well as a bunch of oil-slicked baddies that show the dark side of what happens when you try to make an Overcharge-with-a-splash-of-crude cocktail."

The new DLC pack also introduced another element of awesomeness by way of the new "water traversal mechanics". This enables the players to not only glide across the water, but characters can now dive under the water and launch themselves into the air.

Xbox launched the first Sunset Overdrive DLC, Weapons Pack, late in November after the game's official market release on Oct. 28. The title developed by Insomniac Games instantly received favorable reviews for its impressive visuals and deep storyline.

IGN gave it a 9.0 rating (out of the possible perfect score of 10), and praised its "fun, frantic and fantastic gaming". The same score was given by Polygon and other trusted video game experts.

With these, Sunset Overdrive is considered as one of the best games of 2014.

As a Christmas offering to fans, Microsoft slashed 50% from Sunset Overdrive's original price. It is now available in Xbox Store for $30.
