With speculation about the Xbox Two and PlayStation 5 increasing over the past few months, rumors and news about the devices had been arriving on the Internet in a continuous stream. These have been fueled by indications that new consoles could arrive before the decade draws to a close.

Added to this, there are rumors that the technology that goes into building consoles like the Xbox Two and the PlayStation 5 has been improving rapidly, and this could result in their release cycle shortening. Reporting on the technology that the upcoming consoles could have, Videogamer states that it will result in the consoles becoming much more interactive. Also, the worlds that these two consoles will be able to display will be much more dynamic than anything that is on offer right now.

The features in the upcoming next generation consoles are already being taken into account when designing new games. This is especially true for the game "Dangerous Golf" which is being developed by Three Fields Entertainment. Speaking about the game, Paul Ross, who is one of the founders of the company developing "Dangerous Golf," elaborated how they were already building the game taking into consideration the features that could arrive on the Xbox Two and PlayStation 5. He also outlined that they expect the PS5 to be more dynamic and interactive.

However, Gamerant states that the better resolution on the PS4, which is causing it to sell more than the Xbox One, could result in Microsoft improving this particular element on the upcoming Xbox Two. Also, there are indications that in spite of their advanced technology, consoles are going to have a tough time when it comes to taking on the PC and the type of power it provides. This could result in more people shifting towards playing PC games and demand for the Xbox Two and the PlayStation 5 coming down.

Currently, however, all eyes are focused on when the Xbox Two and the PlayStation 5 will release and it appears that it could only happen at the end of this decade as Microsoft favors an eight-year life cycle. As for Sony, there are indications that since its current console is selling well, it does not have to rush to bring another to the market and it could even take nine years for the PlayStation 5 to arrive.
