Rumors and speculation reports have already emerged saying that the next sports cam, GoPro Hero 5, is expected to come with an 8K resolution camera instead of a 4K. For the not so tech savvy people, these numbers can be quite intimidating. Luckily, there are quite a few reports that have surfaced recently which perfectly, albeit briefly, explain these numbers and how the quality conversion works.

According to the report from Venture Capital Post, there's a reason why 8K is more preferable than 4K resolution and it was also for the same reason why adrenaline junkies choose 4K over 1080p.

When a video is taken using an 8K resolution camera and when the user converts it to 4K, the details of it will be much clearer and will look better compared to those videos taken on the 4K. It compresses all the pixels thus giving it a crispier, smoother look.

Furthermore, the GoPro Hero 5 is also being rumored to come with 60 frame rates per second. Combine that with the 8K quality, then this upcoming gadget will be the dream sports cam of every thrill-seeker looking to capture every action-packed moment of their adventure.

For the sports enthusiasts who are anxiously waiting for the release of GoPro Hero 5, sadly, they may still have to wait for a couple of months or so. On our previous report earlier last month, rumor has it that GoPro Inc., was rumored to have Hero 5 out in the market early October; however, that speculation was debunked and a new GoPro Hero 5 release date rumor has suggested that the device might be available sometime next year, 2016.

Unfortunately though, the circulating rumors did not specify the exact launch date of the device. Needless to say, since nothing much has been confirmed as of this moment, it's best to take these rumors and speculations with a tiny pinch of salt, for now, and wait for the official announcement of the manufacturer for the release date of GoPro Hero 5.
