2013's Vector Graphics (VGX) game of the year, "Grand Theft Auto V," is still making waves across major gaming platforms and is considered by many as one of the best games in the market today, three years after it was released by game developer Rockstar Games. However, fans are still wondering when "Grand Theft Auto VI" will be released by the said game developer. There are speculations that fans could be hearing about "Grand Theft Auto VI's" current state in next year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Moreover, others speculate that they might be seeing the game's sixth episode in the year 2018 or 2020 based on the game developer's trend in releasing such titles.

As previously reported, the game was never mentioned at this year's E3 which made expectant fans quite disappointed. Rumor also has it that the much-awaited title might be out either on 2018 or in 2020 since Rockstar Games has this behavior of going into some sort of hibernation period in releasing titles, especially with their "Grand Theft Auto" franchise.

As fans might remember, Rockstar Games took seven years before they could make a follow-up to "Grand Theft Auto III," which was released way back in 2001. Another instance is the five-year gap between "Grand Theft Auto IV "and "V." Hence, it might be safe to assume that Rockstar Games will stick to this trend and could release "Grand Theft Auto VI" in 2020. Nevertheless, they might also come up with other "Grand Theft Auto" titles to fill in the long gap.

In addition, there are also reports suggesting that the next title will be situated in London, similar to what Rockstar's co-founder and game producer Dan Houser said some years ago when he mentioned that the next game might be set overseas. There are even some rumors stating that the game's protagonist may be a female.

In the meantime, fans will just have to wait for further updates about "Grand Theft Auto VI" on Rockstar Games' newswire.
