The 2016 Honda Civic has undergone what the company calls, "the most ambitious remake," and reflects luxury at its best. And the North American reveal proves just how luxurious it really is.

Honda officially unveiled the Honda Civic 2016 in Los Angeles, California over the weekend. Most of those who were there to gawk at it noted how good-looking it is, not just vis-a-vis the previous models but also among other cars out in the market at the moment.

The Japanese automobile company dispelled any fears from fans, who think there is too much hype surrounding the 10th iteration of the Honda Civic. The unveiling wowed car enthusiasts with exteriors that reminded everyone of the CR-V, with its more muscular and more stylish finish. It is indeed bulkier, with a width that's almost two inches more than the previous version plus a base that's 1.2-inch longer.

The new design means passengers at the back will have more legroom. Even the trunk is more spacious with 73 liters. Also included in the changes are a new grille and an LED DRL and taillight design.

But the stops are not all to the exterior. The interiors have a Display Audi System and a 7-inch infotainment screen, which is compatible with both Android Auto and CarPlay. For the music enthusiasts, they get the most powerful audio system in the said model range, with its 450-watt 10-speaker system. It's not all entertainment, though, as safety has also been in the manufacturers' minds. In the upcoming car are adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, and Road departure mitigation.

As for the engine, car owners have an option to get a 2.0 liter cylinder engine or 1.5 liter direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder. The 2.0 can be partnered with a six-speed manual or a CVT; the 1.5 with only the CVT.

Watch out for the official sales date of the Honda Civic 2016.
