A well-known hacker that goes by the name of @qwertyoruiop on Twitter, real name Luca Todesco, has recently made a breakthrough by hacking the Beta version of the upcoming Apple operating system iOS 9.2.1. Unfortunately, it appears like Todesco is not going to release the jailbreak for the iOS 9.2.1 to the public, according to his most recent tweet.

Apple's upcoming iOS, the 9.2.1 build, is currently still in Beta and being developed, which makes the hacking attempt even more surprising. However, it's best to take in mind that since the OS is still in Beta, the security vulnerabilities of it might get fixed after it rolls out to the public.

For the fans that are expectant, however, WCCFTech reports that they shouldn't keep their hopes up and expect the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak to be released by another hacking group rather than by Todesco.

As for his credibility, though, in terms of OS hacking, according to WCCFTech, Apple has once credited the hacker regarding the security vulnerabilities on the company's current OS build, iOS 9.2.

Redmond Pie via Value Walk had also reported that Todesco was once a major player in hacking the previous iOS version. He once worked and provided input on the Pangu9 jailbreak.

However, at this point, it would be wise to take this recent news with a grain of salt, most especially due to the fact that the jailbreak versions for iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 are still not available for the public.

Meanwhile, as for the update on the iOS 9.2 jailbreak, it appears like 3K Assistant, the partner of hacking group TaiG, had failed on their breakthrough that was announced last December, according to the revised post the team made recently.

3K Assistant, unfortunately, did not go into details on what exactly happened with the breakthrough they had for the iOS 9.2 jailbreak.
