MacBook Pro 2016 release date rumor: next Pro to go on sale October or November this year?

Christmas is the season for giving and gadget manufacturers have come to recognize that. Even Apple Inc. is expanding their holiday choices by trying a new release cycle for their MacBooks, like the MacBook Pro.

It was already reported that the 2016 MacBook Air will be changing its release cycle and will be hitting shelves earlier than its usual March launch date.

According to rumors, the latest MBA might be sold as early as October 2015 and as late as November 2015. The new MacBook Pro might follow suit.

Yibada reports that the new MacBook, which was first sold in March of this year, has been cutting down on stocks and decreasing deliveries to retailers. This can only mean one thing: a new (and most likely better) model — maybe even models — will be sold soon.

The 2015 MacBook Pro just saw a revamp in March, although the 2015 model only had minor feature upgrades. There were minimal changes in storage, battery life, and display from the 2014 model and some MBP users opted to hold off on upgrading.

If rumors prove to be correct, however, some MBP users might find more reasons to upgrade to the 2016 MBP. The latest iteration of the Pro will apparently have the latest Intel Skylake Processor, just like the rumored 2016 MacBook Air. Skylake, a direct major follow-up to Haswell, will have DDR4 support, which is more secure and even faster than its predecessor RAM.

Also reported in the MBP update is a slimmer finish, which appears to be Apple's path in their laptops moving forward. The new Macbook was even slimmer and lighter than its MBA.

Word on the grapevine is that if the new MacBook Pro and Air do not get unveiled along with the new iPhones and iPads this September, then they will be introduce by October or November. Further updates on the unveiling and the release date of the 2016 MacBook Pro will be posted when available.
