Samsung's next iteration, codenamed Project Lucky or currently referred to as Samsung Galaxy S7, is still many months away from its official unveiling. However, rumors, leaks, and speculations won't stop and recent word on the street has suggested that, Samsung might be developing its own version of 3D Touch—the one Apple made for their current phone iPhone 6S—for the Galaxy S7.

According to the report from Phone Arena, one of the famous manufacturers of touch technology, Synaptics, has recently included Samsung on the list of core partners for the upcoming latest tech, ClearForce.

As explained by the source, the ClearForce technology will give the user freedom in maneuvering through the files just by pressing the screen. The action of it will be different and will be based on the pressure the user applies on each presses. The concept of this tech is pretty much the same as Apple's 3D Touch, which was first introduced on the recently launched handset iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

The two might have similar concepts, but the ClearForce will come with new additions to the navigation like variable speed controlling, screen unlock and wake up, gaming control and possibly many more, as said on Phone Arena.

So far though, the only phone that has been confirmed to have this same tech is Huawei's Mate S phablet, Tech Radar reports.

Since the phone isn't due for launch until Q1 2016, it's best for fans to keep an open-mind for now until Samsung officially announces that they will feature this technology on their next iteration. The chances of it being equipped on the next phone are a bit higher though unlike the other rumors, like the three CPU variants, since Synaptics has officially enlisted Samsung as one of their core partners.
