The two next-gen consoles, Xbox Two and PlayStation 5, are still a couple of years away from the expected release. With that in mind, both fans and industry analysts are now starting up their own speculation as to when these consoles will hit the market and the game titles that will come along with it. The first IP that was dropped on the prediction was Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto VI," according to the report from Inquisitr.

It seems like Rockstar Games has allegedly started their early development for "GTA VI." Some fans were hoping that the next installment will come to the current-gen consoles, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but the source has strongly suggested that this won't be the case.

Some game enthusiasts might think that this speculation is a bit farfetched. However, last year, Sony had apparently posted a job ad on their page, searching for talented game developers to work on their next-gen consoles. The job ad wrote via Mobipicker:

"We have an exciting opportunity at Sony Computer Entertainment of America (PlayStation). We seek a senior game programmer to assist us in developing a game used for R&D purposes related to our next generation gaming system. For someone passionate about gaming this is a very rare opportunity. After reviewing the below job profile, if this is you, please apply!"

The timeframe for the next-gen console seems to lineup quite perfectly with the estimation as to when "GTA VI" will come out to the market, which was previously reported to be unveiled sometime in 2018 same goes for the Xbox Two and PS5. However, as what experts believe, this is just a rough estimation and the prediction should be taken lightly with a pinch of salt on the side.

Meanwhile, in terms of features, the Xbox Two and PS5 would most likely sport a 4K display quality, according to industry analyst Michael Patcher. Nothing much has been said, though, aside from the resolution of its graphics.

So for now, it is highly advisable to wait for further announcements coming from Microsoft and Sony regarding the Xbox Two and PlayStation 5 details. Needless to say, it is best to consider the reports as mere speculations for the time being until proven otherwise.
