Jennifer is determined to put an end to the 12 Monkeys in the upcoming episode 9, titled "Hyena," of the second season of the science fiction thriller "12 Monkeys."

The brilliant but mentally unstable Jennifer Goines (Emily Hampshire) decides to create a group called The Hyenas that aims to take on the 12 Monkeys' organization. They have enlisted Cole's (Aaron Stanford) help and through him they form a plan to acquire the virus.

The promo trailer for "Hyena" shows an action-packed Jennifer with her Hyena squad as they infiltrate the place where The Army of the 12 Monkeys is believed to reside. Cole could not believe Jennifer's level of crazy.

Meanwhile, actress Amanda Schull shared to TV Line her character Cassie's anger at Cole. She explained that there is a connection that both of them cannot specifically describe, and the whole season will slowly reveal what that connection really is. There is also a lot of confusion, frustration, resentment, and superficial anger.

The actress also gave her thoughts on how the two characters will progress their relationship. "It makes no sense that these two people should even exist in the same time; that they should even know each other," she said. "Their worlds are so different in every single possible respect. Also now, with who Cassie is, if she opens herself up to anything meaningful, there's a very big possibility that it'll just disappear and it'll hurt that much more."

Meanwhile, the previous episode, titled "Lullaby," saw Jones' realization on humanity's truest foes — and that is the very existence of time-travel. So, she decided to send Railly to the year 2020 to undo everything. However, Railly, who's accompanied by Cole, found out that there is an anomaly in their mission.

The all-new episode of "12 Monkeys" season 2 airs on June 13, Monday, at 9 p.m. on Syfy.
