Netflix recently released another trailer for its upcoming reboot of "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events." This time, it introduces Count Olaf, played by Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris.

The trailer, spanning a minute long, starts off with a shot of Count Olaf's eerie mansion. The three Baudelaire children — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny — wait by the front door as Mr. Poe (K. Todd Freeman) informs them that Count Olaf is "very eager to get his hands on [them]."

"Something strange is going on," Klaus says. "Did you see the tattoo on his ankle? He's in disguise and he's trying to take us away."

Described as a "villain," "wretch," "horrible," and "awful," Count Olaf emerges from a dark corner. "You haven't the faintest idea," he snarls at the Baudelaire children.

The clip also teases Count Olaf's disguises, schemes, and background — showing a garden maze, a large ship, and describing him as "a thief and a murderer" that has thus far "completely escaped capture."

A month prior, Netflix released the first teaser for the show, which is based on the novel series of the same name by Daniel Handler. The clip sees Patrick Warburton, who plays Lemony Snicket, explaining that the Baudelaire children's story is "so upsetting and so utterly unnerving" that the crew has found themselves under medical observation. The faint sound of Harris' Count Olaf singing in the background interrupts Warburton's explanation. In the end, he cautions the viewers to "look away" and "avoid the cruel whimsy and whimsical cruelty of what's to come."

The series will follow Violet, Klaus, and Sunny as they try to solve the death of their parents while escaping Count Olaf's numerous evil plots. A movie of the same name was previously released in 2004 starring Jim Carrey as Count Olaf.

"Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" will premiere on Jan. 13 on Netflix.
