'Attack on Titan' season 2 rumors: Mikasa's life to be in danger
"Attack on Titan" season 2 is still some months away, but speculations on what it will possibly offer upon its return to the small screen continue to abound. The latest in the rumor mill is that the upcoming season of the highly anticipated anime may feature Mikasa's life in grave danger.
Although there is no exact date yet, it has already been announced that "Attack on Titan" will begin airing its season 2 by spring next year. While the anime is not expected to arrive within the year, there are already various rumors attached to it, and the latest buzz is that a Titan will be after Mikasa's life. Although the reason why a heartless Titan will go after the life of the said character is unknown, it is said that she will be rescued by Eren as he transforms himself into a Titan.
Speaking of Eren, rumors claiming that the upcoming season 2 of "Attack on Titan" will feature his backstory are rife as well. Allegedly, the anime will not only follow the past of the anime's protagonist but will also cast the spotlight on his adventures as he explores more about his ability to shape-shift into a Titan.
According to numerous sources, the upcoming season of the anime will be heavily anchored on its manga version. Hence, fans of the anime who also read the manga counterpart of "Attack on Titan" can well expect that the upcoming season will feature Eren as still a member of the Survey Corps and him making some important discoveries at the basement of his father.
Reportedly, one of the discoveries that Eren will make is that Dr. Yeager, his father, has another wife, with whom he has a half-brother, Zeke. Furthermore, as Eren is also Beast Titan, it is said that the two will engage in a clash as Zeke wants to kill Eren and get his Titan powers.
While the aforementioned plots are nothing short of exciting, unfortunately, they are nothing but mere speculations at this point in time and can only be confirmed once "Attack on Titan" begins airing its season 2, reportedly in April 2017.
