'Batman: Arkham Knight' game update: DLC with Batgirl will be delayed for PC players
Right now, it is crystal clear that the PC version of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" is severely broken and will take some time to fix. Due to this, the Batgirl DLC, set to be released this week, has been delayed on PC.
To make the announcement about the delay, the publisher of the game, Warner Bros., took to the support forums of the game and stated that they are still working on fixing the issues and problems with the PC version. They continued to explain that since they are focusing on ironing the kinks in the game's PC version out, the "Batgirl: A Matter of Family" DLC will not arrive on July 14 to those gamers who are playing on the PC.
This is unfortunate news for PC gamers because in spite of Rocksteady Studios acknowledging the peformance issues that have plagued the PC version, it appears that they are no where close to fixing them.
What players can hold on to however is Warner Bros.' statement in which they said that they are working on the issues and are testing them out. Once the testing is complete and succesful, then they will be able to provide a schedule for its release.
Meanwhile, the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" is still being pulled from stores. The publisher stated that they want to make sure that the game works well and achieves a high quality standard before they start selling them again.
The PC port of "Batman: Arkham Knight" was pulled from stores after gamers reported a large number of problems with the game. At that time, issues were being reported by gamers who had computers with Nvidia and AMD graphics cards.
Not long after, there were several reports that the PC version have had those problems for a while and the publisher and developer opted to ignore them as they thought the quality was sufficient for gamers using PCs.
There was a lot of anticipation when the DLC featuring Batgirl was announced earlier this year. Unfortunately for PC gamers, they would have to skip on the opportunity to play as Batgirl for now.
