'Bleach' chapter 676 spoilers: Ichigo's new form; cliffhanger may not be addressed
Ichigo has transformed into his brand new self and is ready to take down Yhwach. In the next chapter of "Bleach," chapter 676, Ichigo is said to be seen at his most powerful self as he is about to combine Shinigami and Quincy.
Previously, Ichigo was helpless as he got beaten up badly by Yhwach. Although Inoue was around to assist, there was little he could do to help Ichigo out of the situation. Ichigo was then about to receive another blow, but Inoue managed to produce a protective shield for Ichigo. While Ywach continued with his attacks, Inoue saw how Ichigo's katana turned white, which signalled that the fighter is ready to launch an all-out attack.
Fans will need to wait for the new chapter to find out what happens next to Ichigo in the fight, but speculations are rife that he will combine Shinigami and Quincy. According to members of the forum Manga Helpers, Ichigo's Inner and Hollow selves have partnered up to fight together. These two alter-egos were once separate entities but are now believed to have joined forces. It is even said that these two entities will consult each other on why they should kill Yhwach.
There are other theories as to what will come up next. According to a discussion on Reddit, chapter 676 will focus more on Ichigo's new form. Orihime looks at the new Ichigo and she will have flashbacks of the Ulquiorra fight. However, she will be relieved as she is confident that's not something that will happen again.
Then again, there are also speculations that the next chapter won't ever show what happens after Ichigo's transformation. Chapter 675 ended in a cliffhanger, and according to one Redditor, the "Bleach" author might not reveal what happens next to Ichigo in Chapter 676 since he reportedly has a reputation of skipping parts and focusing on a different story, leaving things in a cliffhanger just when things are exciting.
There's only one way to find out – when the chapter releases, which is expected to occur on Thursday.
