Monday night will see the return of the 11th episode of Castle's season 7 and the lead character gets a new title as a private investigator.

In the episode called "Castle P.I.," Rick Castle and wife, Kate Beckett, will be seen working on a case, but not with each other. After Castle was let go from the 12th precinct during the mid-season finale, he tries to revive his career by getting a private investigator's license so he can still be involved as an investigator in cases even if he doesn't work for the precinct anymore. Just as Castle gets a leg up in his career, Beckett has no idea what her husband has gotten himself into.

"I'm no longer Richard Castle, ordinary citizen. I'm now Richard Castle, private investigator," said the lead character in the sneak preview of the upcoming episode. The preview also reveals that Beckett has no clue that Castle has become a private investigator.

"You got your P.I. license, without telling me?" says Beckett in the video, clearly acting surprised.

Even if Castle now has a private investigator license, the folks over at the 12th precinct are still keeping their ground and refusing to let Castle back in their team. Beckett then tells him that though he has obtained a license being a private investigator, the District Attorney still won't allow him to investigate alongside Beckett's team. Castle then says that even if that's the case, he is still legally allowed to investigate a case on behalf of a client that hired him.

Knowing Rick Castle, he will still investigate even without a client since he is not required to give out the name of his "client." Even so, the authorities ask Castle to leave, and the suave character makes an exit with a statement.

"That's fine, I've already seen that I need to hear anyway. I'll conduct my investigation, elsewhere," says Castle in the promo video.
