'Chicago Fire' season 5 episode 6 spoilers: Dawson gets involved in accident that could cost her career
Dawson (Monica Raymund) hits a pedestrian while she is on the phone in the upcoming episode 6, titled "That Day," of the fifth season of the American procedural series "Chicago Fire."
While responding to a call in the field, Dawson will not realize that she has hit a pedestrian, who steps in front of the ambulance. However, knowing that there is no way out of the situation, she has to deal with the consequences of her actions first.
Meanwhile, Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney) continue their disagreement and investigation to prove a probable cause of the arson case from the previous episode. While both of them make sure that no stone was left unturned, Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) has to decide on his own whether to attend or cancel an important function in New York.
Lt. Casey, on the other hand, decides to let Herrmann (David Eigenberg) take charge at a specific shift so he can look into what his superiors deal with firsthand. These are some of the things that he is preparing for to get a possible promotion. Also, "Chicago Med" actor Marlyne Barrett and "Chicago P.D." actor Jon Seda will be appearing as guest stars.
The promo trailer for the upcoming "Chicago Fire" season 5 episode, "That Day," shows how Dawson hits a pedestrian while driving an ambulance and how that accident could cost her entire career. After the accident, she receives a notification for being sued with $5 million worth of damages.
Meanwhile, the previous episode, titled "I Held Her Hand," saw how Casey failed to save a woman who was trapped in a burning house. Herrmann, on the other hand, was doing all he could to catch the person who has been targeting the firehouse. Plus, Boden got an unexpected visitor.
"Chicago Fire" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
