In the upcoming episode 18, titled "Blood Sport," of "Code Black" season one, no stone will be left unturned as confrontations, surprises, and discoveries fill the finale.

The official synopsis from The Futon Critic reads: "Mario confronts Angus about his Adderall abuse and Christa is surprised to learn how romantically involved Neal and Grace were before she left for Haiti. Also, Dr. Mark Taylor (Kevin Dunn) returns to help Leanne find the money in their budget to keep Jesse and the nurses from walking out."

The recently released promo trailer shows a thrilling and action-packed finale. In the clip, Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Harden) is seen announcing Gov. Wesley's critical condition in a press conference. News broke that there is an explosion at a Presidential debate, and it seems like a lot of victims were rushed to the hospital. Amidst the emergency, it looks like rivalries between doctors will be revealed.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode of this American medical drama, titled "Love Hurts," the doctors faced a peculiar crisis as they dealt with patients garbed in zombie costumes after they came from a convention where a scaffolding collapsed.

Christa and Megan teamed up to deal with a teenager who was abused at a camp. However, Christa doesn't feel totally comfortable working with Megan. To keep her focus on things, Angus began taking an ADHD medication. He also took out a knife from Gordon's neck.

Meanwhile, Leanne took care of a VIP patient who implanted embryos inside her without her husband's knowledge.

Also in this episode, "Grown Ups" star Cameron Boyce starred in a guest role as Brody who had burns and bruises. Apparently, he is the teen Christa and Megan were asked to treat. Brody claimed that he was abused at a camp for troubled teens.

"Code Black" season finale will air next Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
