Scott Stapp, the singer of the then-famous band Creed, used social media to reveal his current state.

In a video he originally posted to his Facebook account, the singer of the 90's hit 'My Sacrifice,' said that he is currently living in a room at a Holiday Inn after spending some time residing in his truck.

"I had no money, not even for gas or food. I went two days without eating because I had no money and ended up in an emergency room," said the vocalist in the video. Stapp then revealed that his record company is trying to steal money from him.

"There are people that have taken advantage and stolen money from me, and they're trying to discredit me, slander me," said Stapp in the video, adding that his new-found faith prevents him from performing acts of revenge on these people.

However, Stapp's wife Jaclyn, who recently filed for divorce from him, talked to The Miami Herald and revealed that the singer has been battling an addiction from methamphetamine, steroid, and has become paranoid over the last few months.

Jaclyn further reveals that Stapp has tried to hurt himself several times, even going to the point of committing suicide and harming his family.

Stapp says that he is as "sober as can be," and assured his son, Jagger, that he is not doing drugs or alcohol anymore.

"Right now, I'm under some kind of pretty vicious attack," further testifies Stapp in his self-made video, below.
