'Criminal Minds' season 10 episode 18 spoilers: congressman probed after wife goes missing in 'Rock Creek Park'
"Criminal Minds" is known for keeping fans at the edge of their seat and delivering an accurate profile of a masked killer. Donning their investigation hat and combining their psychological skills, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) successfully catches murderers every day.
In episode 18 of season 10 named "Rock Creek Park", the BAU unit will investigate a congressman when his wife goes missing. The team looks into the politician's rivals in order to capture the abductor (or murderer). It has been a while since "Criminal Minds" showed a story revolving around politics, so it will certainly be interesting to watch.
Academy award nominated actress Tess Harper will play the role of Dinah Troy, the congressman's mother, as he and the BAU will search for his wife. However, fans will have to wait much longer than usual to get their latest episode of the crime and mystery drama as it is scheduled to release on March 25 rather than March 18. This is due to a two-hour screening of an episode of "Survivor".
While the show takes on a political spin, fans will also see Kate's pregnancy storyline continue that started in episode 17. Meg acted out when she discovered that her aunt is pregnant due to abandonment issues. Her parents died in 9/11.
However, Kate's personal life is not the only one under scrutiny by fans. In episode 20, TVGuide reports that actor Ed Asner, known for playing Guy Redmayne in "The Good Wife", will appear as Hotch's father-in-law. Asner will call upon his son-in-law to bail him out of jail because of an incident. He is suffering from dementia.
His late wife's father deems that Hotch is responsible for his daughter's death, so the reunion may be anything but pleasant.
"Criminal Minds" returns on March 25 on CBS.
