'Deadpool 2' movie spoilers: Ajax wants Taskmaster to take on Wade Wilson

(Facebook / Deadpool Movie)"Deadpool" has teased Cable to be the sequel's villain, but Ajax actor Ed Skrein would like to see Taskmaster battle it out with the merc with a mouth.

Ajax actor Ed Skrein will not be back to do more "Deadpool" films, but he shared he wants Taskmaster to be the next antihero villain in the movie's sequel.

In an interview with IGN the actor said, "The Taskmaser is just you know, so fun. To see Taskmaster and Wade Wilson/Deadpool together is so funny — watching them play in the Daniel Way collection they have these incredible riffs. He's a mercenary like Wade Wilson but he's a mercenary without morals."

The actor sure does know a lot about these comic characters as he added, "The only redeeming factor of Deadpool is his morals, right? Taskmaster does not have those morals so he back-stabs and stuff like that."

The merc with a mouth wasn't as popular as his Marvel counterparts when a standalone film was made for the character. Another risk Marvel took in creating the movie was to release it under the R-rating. The risk paid off as the movie went on to break box-office records, and now, viewers can't get enough of the film.

In the post credits scene, actor Ryan Reynolds, who plays the titular role, teased that Cable will be the next movie's villain. Cable is a relatively unknown mutant, but his parents, Scott Summers and Jean Grey, are household names in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Not much has been revealed about the upcoming sequel aside from the return of Reynolds, writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, and director Tim Miller. While Cable has created a buzz, casting for the role is not heard of yet aside from speculations on who should be playing the character. A change in the story's direction may also be possible, which means the next movie may or may no longer involve the super mutant.

"Deadpool" comic series has a lot of villains and antiheroes to choose from and a combination of these will certainly be welcomed by moviegoers.

"Deadpool" is scheduled for release in late 2017 or early 2018.
