'Dragon Ball Super' episode 74 spoilers: Gohan to play the role of his alter ego in a movie
While it's true that the upcoming episode 74 of "Dragon Ball Super" is just a filler episode before the anime series kicks off with its new story arc next month, fans can still expect the upcoming episode to deliver the same kind of entertainment the anime is known for as it will feature Gohan playing the role of Great Saiyaman for a movie.
The upcoming episode 74 of "Dragon Ball Super" comes with the title "For The Sake of Those He Loves! The Indomitable Great Saiyaman," where Gohan will be featured taking over the role of an actor who is supposed to portray the Great Saiyaman in a movie.
To the uninitiated, the Great Saiyaman is an alter ego created by Gohan himself so that he can continue to protect those who he cares about without having to reveal who he really is. In the upcoming episode 74 of "Dragon Ball Super," Gohan is supposed to be the stunt double for an actor who will play the role of the Great Saiyaman. However, the said actor, Barry Karn, will eventually back out. This leaves Gohan portraying a role that only him can truly master and give justice to.
However, fans will have more of Great Saiyaman as Gohan's alter ego is not only set to appear in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 74 as he is also set to appear in episode 75. According to other sources, the upcoming episode 75 will feature Goku feeling bored because he has no training partner. Because of this, Chi Chi will call Gohan to train with his father as he assumes his Great Saiyaman identity.
Meanwhile, most fans are already excited about the last of the filler episode for "Dragon Ball Super," episode 77, as it is reported to feature the birth of Bra, Bulma and Vegeta's second child. Many believe that the birth of Bra in episode 77 may be an indication that the character will be part of the next story arc of "Dragon Ball Super" slated to arrive in February, the "Universal Survival" arc, which has already hinted to feature the Tournament of Power.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 74 is slated to air this Sunday, Jan. 15, at 9 in the morning over Fuji TV.
