'Dragon Ball Super' TV series news: Piccolo defeats Frost but not through the Makankossapo
"Dragon Ball Super" TV series have finally shown "Dragon Ball" fans how powerful Piccolo is as a fighter when he defeated Frost in episode 34, which aired this week. The green alien fighter definitely let his opponent taste the full power of his wrath as he used his multiform technique and the Makankosappo or the special beam cannon.
In last week's episode, Goku defeated Botamo and after that, he had to face Frost. In mid-battle, however, Goku got stuck in the middle of the ring, a situation which Frost used to inflict harm on Goku. Eventually, he was able to kick Goku out of the ring.
In episode 34 titled "Piccolo vs Frost — Bet Everything on the Makankosappo," it was Piccolo's turn to fight Frost, who first got the upper hand and kicked Piccolo on the chest. Piccolo was able to recover and suddenly used his multiform technique to confuse Frost. Based on the expression on Frost's face, he was truly surprised to see Piccolo's power.
That's just the beginning of Piccolo showcasing his power in episode 34. Based on the title which mentions the Makankosappo, the Namekian alien used not just one but two of his superpowers.
The Makankosappo is Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, a weapon he designed to kill Goku when they were still archenemies. Literally translated as the "Demonic Piercing Light Murder Gun," it is Piccolo's signature attack in which he puts his index and middle finger on his forehead as he gathers energy to attack.
However, Frost had his own tricks as well. Before Piccolo could power up his special beam cannon again, Frost extended his arm and wrapped it around Piccolo.
Frost was announced the winner again. However, Jaco suspected that Frost was cheating, so Vegeta asked the announcer to search Frost. It turned out that Frost was using a poisonous needle which he injected on his opponent's wrist.
With Frost disqualified from the match, Piccolo was announced the winner. Meanwhile, Vegeta challenged Frost in a special fight. Whether or not Frost will fight Vegeta is the question fans will know the answer to in episode 35.
"Dragon Ball Super" airs Sundays at 9 a.m. in Japan on Fuji TV.
