'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date update: Game to include Time Patrollers on Oct. 25 release
Fans are getting more excited about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" with each passing day. And when the game drops on Oct. 25, fans can expect new characters and the introduction of Time Patrollers.
According to reports, Bandai Namco shared a trailer of the upcoming game at the 2016 Tokyo Game Show. The clip sees the gameplay and graphics of the title. Video graphics have been greatly improved, especially when it comes to their movements during fight scenes. The characters have also gone through different transformations.
In the video, Trunks introduced the Time Patrollers and explained what they are for. Time Patrollers are in charge of keeping the timeline intact and making sure that no drastic changes are made.
Fans can also expect to play as a character of their choosing, even female ones. This means that female characters will be able to transform into a Super Saiyan and, subsequently, a Super Saiyan 3. Those who have been transformed into Super Saiyan 3 can be further evolved into Super Buu and Super Namekian.
New characters are also set to be introduced. Gojita, Belarus, Bardock, Frieza, Dodoria, Meta Cooler, Majin Vegeta, Zerbon, and Turtles are only a few of those who will be appearing in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
As previously reported, Janemba, Goku Black, and Super Saiyan Vegeta are also going to be a part of the posse. Apart from new faces, the game is also going to have a feature that will allow players to team up. Each team can accommodate up to six members, which is an attractive feature for groups.
The team-up feature will allow players to come up with plans and strategies that will be more effective when carried out as a group. This is especially advantageous when it comes to dealing with huge NPC bosses or enemies.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
