A&E's "Duck Dynasty" is one of the most watched reality series. The show, which follows the life of the Robertson Family, brings no shortage of drama in every episode of the series' eight season run – both off-screen and on-screen. While the family has been plagued with controversies due to family patriarch, Phil Robertson's anti-gay views, it seems like the past few weeks have brought nothing but joy for the reality television family.

"Duck Dynasty" first aired on A&E three years ago and it has become one of the most successful shows of the network. While the show is definitely highbrow programming, it has gained a massive fanbase with the most recent episodes averaging 9 million viewers.

Season eight of "Duck Dynasty" just premiered a few days ago, June 24, and it featured John Luke Robertson, Willie's 19-year old son, getting engaged to his girlfriend, Mary Kate McEacharn. Willie and his wife, Korrie were also married young, so it comes as no surprise that the engagement was welcome news for the tight-knit family.

Despite their young age, the engagement was definitely not a long one. Reports have recently confirmed that the young couple got hitched three days ago, June 27, in their family farm in West Monroe, Louisiana.

John Luke also seemed to have confirmed the news himself in an interview with US Weekly. The 19-year old expressed his excitement about being married to Mary Kate and said, "I am so excited to marry my best friend. I know my parents [Willie and Korie Robertson] married young as well, and they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me. Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us."

While it was not confirmed if the wedding would be featured on the show, it is highly likely that fans would catch a glimpse of the John Luke – Mary Kate nuptials.
