Recent reports suggest that Eminem is busy working on other projects such as a compilation which has been streamed for over 30 million times ever since it was released. The famous music writer may indeed be paying more attention on marketing his label, which could be why for now, he can't focus on his upcoming album.

He has also cut down on the number of tours and other appearances over the past years, as opposed to his hectic schedule back in the early 2000s. His latest stage appearance was his meet-up with Drake, who was rumored to have been feuding with the "Rap God" for some time. However, the two's coming together during that one night immediately quashed rumors about their alleged feud.

Meanwhile, CBS Detroit also recently reported that Eminem, whose birth name is Marshall Mathers III, partnered with StockX, a company that focuses on providing a massive market of various shoe brands including Jordans, Nike and Adidas. Rumor has it that his newest business venture may also be a reason for his album's delay.

Venturing into business requires a lot of time and preparation and Eminem may well indeed be trying to focus his life one area at a time to make sure he doesn't make any mistakes. After all, Eminem isn't just a rapper and a famed entertainer; he is also a father, and at this time in his life, he may be putting more of his time on establishing a good estate for his kids.

For now, fans can just hope that Eminem finds time to produce the highly-anticipated album and release it before the year ends.
