Eminem new album 2016 release date news: Remastered 'Infinite' released for loyal fans; new album rumored to arrive January 2017

(Facebook/Eminem)New album is rumored to roll out in January 2017.

It has been years since Eminem released an album. But the drought might soon be over as the rapper's new album will reportedly drop early 2017.

The last time the prolific rapper released an album was 2013's "The Marshall Mathers LP 2." While the rap god has made himself busy by releasing a compilation album, a box set, the "Southpaw" soundtrack, and various collaborations, fans are still waiting for Eminem to release his own allbum.

Luckily, it seems his fans will be getting what they wished for. Reports have been percolating for a while now that Eminem, who's real name is Marshall Mathers III, is hard at work on a new album that's set to be released in January 2017. It's been said that the album's working title is "Success."

One Reddit user shared a photo of a one-page document that allegedly features the tracklist for Eminem's upcoming album and it teases a number of eclectic but powerful collaborations. Aside from Chance the Rapper, Kid Cudi, and The Weeknd working on some songs, the list also reveals that Adele will be lending her golden pipes on the album.

While the idea of all these artists working on Eminem's album is exciting, a big percentage of the rapper's fans are not buying it. Some have pointed out that Mathers doesn't really work with more than two artists in one album, while others are skeptical of Adele working on a rap album. There's admittedly a disclaimer on the Reddit post that the photo might be fake.

Despite that, rap enthusiasts are still excited at the idea of new material coming from Eminem, especially as one of his alleged producers has reportedly said that the new album will erase music records.

There's no release date set for Eminem's new album yet. In the meantime, fans can check out the remastered version of "Infinite" on the artist's VEVO channel on YouTube. A short documentary about the album is also in the works.
