The upcoming chapter 528 of "Fairy Tail" will feature Erza, Wendy, and Jellal joining forces together in their attempt to take down Acnologia.

Acnologia's return has been long anticipated by the fans of "Fairy Tail." While earlier rumors claimed that chapter 528 will feature the black dragon in a clash with Zeref, it is not the case, though.

After long speculations, it is finally confirmed that Acnologia is returning to the pages of "One Piece" as spoiler reports claim that "Fairy Tail" chapter 528 features him, indeed. Nonetheless, instead of a battle with Zeref, Acnologia engages in a showdown of force with Jellal, who comes to the rescue of Erza and Wendy.

According to reports, as Acnologia mocks the dead, Erza stands up to him and tells him to stop insulting the lifeless body. It is when Acnologia notices that Wendy is there and realizes that she is a dragon slayer. After this, it is reported that Acnologia begins attacking Erza and Wendy until Jellal enters the scene to protect the two women against Acnologia's attacks.

Despite Jellal's attacks, though, Acnologia remains unscathed as no amount of magic works on him. After all, Wendy has earlier said that she could feel that Acnologia possesses a powerful magic than any of theirs.

While Erza is adamant against Wendy's decision to use her dragon-slayer powers against Acnologia, she still proceeds and completely ignores her wish. As Wendy's body weakens while using her dragon-slayer magic, Christina shows up just in the nick of time to stop Acnologia's attacks. Then, it does not take long before Bob emerges and saves the three from what would have been a devastation.

Meanwhile, as the current chapter teases a female character that is likely to be revealed in the upcoming chapter 529 of "Fairy Tail," many believe that she may hold the key to defeating Acnologia. Although the said character is still shrouded in mystery, as her hair and clothes are the only hint in the current chapter, some suspect that she may be Anna or another Heartfilia from the past.
