Following almost three years of thriving to move on without the amazing Paul Walker, the "Fast and Furious" franchise seems to be putting plans on the table to bring back the character that the beloved actor has portrayed for the past seven installments.

Walker passed away from a tragic car crash in November 2013, leaving a teenage daughter, Meadow, behind, and a nonprofit organization that helps people recover from disasters.

While Walker has left a huge void that probably no actor can ever fill, things are getting exciting for the franchise as his brothers Caleb and Cody recently teased on what fans should expect of Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, for upcoming installments, including "Fast and Furious 8."

The siblings revealed that there are now talks about the potential return of O'Conner for a cameo role in future installments. "I had a phone call with Vin for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing," Caleb told Entertainment Tonight.

He added that Diesel had asked if they'd agree that it "would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul's character back... to really kind of let his fans know he's still out there."

Cody further explained, "Universal wants to make sure to be respectful of Paul and his image too, and his family."

As fans know, the brothers helped film the scenes that Walker wasn't able to complete filming for in "Fast and Furious 7." With the eighth installment underway, fans can hope that both Caleb and Cody will be willing to help around so their brother's character can still live on.

Will "Fast and Furious 8" be able to pull off a Paul Walker appearance? The answer has yet to be revealed but nothing is impossible nowadays with CGI (computer-generated imaging) getting even more prominent and useful in filmmaking.

On the other hand, there will be a lot of discussions and table talks between the producers, Diesel and the Walker family. For now, fans can keep hoping for miracles to happen.
