'Frozen 2' plot rumors: Anna, Elsa to fight over crown; Tarzan to become King of Arendelle?
Rumors about "Frozen 2's" plot are getting stronger, with the latest ones suggesting the appearance of another popular Disney character, Tarzan.
Tarzan has long been rumored to be included in the most anticipated sequel to 2013's highest-grossing film. The Tarzan-theory states that he is the long-lost brother of Elsa and Anna.
It can be recalled that the late King and Queen of Arendelle died from a shipwreck but there were speculations that they never really died – only washed away to a remote island where the queen gave birth to Tarzan.
The new rumor now suggests that Anna and Elsa are not really blood sisters as Anna is said to be the adopted one. With this, Anna will be frustrated and will start to feel jealous of her sister, also the Queen of Arendelle. There were even crazy theories that Anna would get rid of Elsa for good by killing her and then claiming her throne.
Now, it is even speculated that Tarzan heard about Elsa's murder and wouldn't take it lightly. He will reportedly confront Anna about this, and in the end, he will be the one crowned as King to rule Arendelle.
Rumors about Elsa's death started when actress Idina Menzel joked about the fate of her character. When E!News about "Frozen 2's" development, Menzel answered, "We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it," Menzel said with a smile. "That's all I know—unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes."
Since then, speculations about her death became rampant. However, according to MoviePilot, this isn't likely due to a number of reasons. One important reason is that people have yet to know more about the Queen of Arendelle. There's so much to discover about Elsa's personality and that won't happen if she dies.
"Frozen 2" is expected to release sometime in 2018.
