'Frozen 2' plot spoilers, release date: Sequel might feature a duet by Anna and Elsa
The newest "Frozen 2" update reveals that the upcoming sequel might feature a duet by the royal sisters themselves.
Rumor has it, Parent Herald reports, that Anna and Elsa will be singing in a duet. This might also turn out as big, if not more, as the global hit song "Let It Go" off the first "Frozen" movie.
According to Telegraph film critic Tim Robey, "I think they'll definitely try to position one song as a 'Let It Go'-trumping central number. At a guess, though, it might be a duet between the sisters. They only shared about four scenes in the first film, so I feel more detailed development of that relationship has got to be the way to go."
It is also believed by some critics that the said performance will be a "showstopping number" that may start off with Anna and finish with an eventual duet. Since Elsa had her own powerful scene with "Let It Go" in part one, it just makes sense that Anna will be given her own shining moment.
Numerous rumors and theories that have been circulating in the Internet prominently includes a female villain which bears the power of fire—the opposite element of Queen Elsa's.
There have also been rumors that Prince Hans, Anna's first love whom she was tricked by, will try to win Queen Elsa's heart. Also, Anna's superpowers might be revealed which is rumored to be the summer or fall.
Speculations also reveal that Olaf may have a love interest in "Frozen 2," which could be a snow girl or a human. The Tarzan theory—which suggests that he is the actual brother of the royal sisters—has also been popping up online.
March 12 last year, Disney officially announced that the a sequel of the top grossing animated film "Frozen" is in the works with Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee as directors. However, until now there is no official announcement on the premiere date of the said sequel.
