The upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will see Riley (Rowan Blanchard) trying to deal with a failed grade.

The official synopsis for episode 4, titled "Girl Meets Permanent Record," reads: "Riley finds out the hard way that getting a bad grade in high school will count toward her permanent record."

A trailer has also been released for the new episode and it shows Riley obsessing over her failed grade. She has been given a 'D' in her Spanish exam, which visibly upsets both her and her parents, Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel). And as if that's not big news enough, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) has managed to get an 'A' on the same exam, according to the 30-second clip. Topanga then declares Maya her new daughter. Riley's brother, Auggie (August Maturo), also taunts his older sister for getting the bad score.

Meanwhile, here is a recap of the previous episode titled "Girl Meets Jexica."

The episode mainly focused on the influence and usage of the Internet by today's youth. Riley was fearful of what her peers at the high school might think of her so she invented an online persona for herself, whom she named Jexica, the episode's namesake. Jexica became so popular though and everyone--including Riley--showed up to school dressed like her.

On the other hand, Auggie faced troubles of his own with emails. Cory and Topanga warned him about the bad side of the Internet after Auggie received an email from a so-called "prince," which is notorious as a scammer front. 

As is usual with "Girl Meets World" and Disney Channel shows in general, the episode was packed with lessons that teens today can benefit from. Riley learned in the end that she is free to express herself and be who she truly is around her friends. 

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 4 will air on Friday, June 17 on the Disney Channel.
