The third season of "Girl Meets World" is coming to an end, but fans still have three more episodes to look forward to in January. In one of them, it looks like there is going to be one big birthday party.

The first episode expected to air next year is titled "World Meets Girl." As per Wikia, it will be an "interactive episode" where the cast members will answer the audience's many questions. This will be the series' gift to their loyal fans who have stuck with the show since 2014.

Rumors of a cancellation still hound the series as Disney has yet to announce its plans. Currently, no updates have been released on whether there is going to be a season 4 or not. Many still hope though that the show will be given the green light soon.

Meanwhile, as per CarterMatt, the other two episodes will continue the story of Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). No details have been released yet, but the episode titled "Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen" suggests that a party is in the works to celebrate someone's sixteenth birthday. "Girl Meets Goodbye," on the other hand, could serve as the season finale, where many former "Boy Meets World" cast members are reportedly slated to return. The Matthews family is also said to be making an important decision about the future.

Last episode, the gang celebrated Christmas together. Everyone was excited, especially with the Secret Santa game, except for Maya. She effectively embodied Scrooge from the Dickens' novel. Maya tried to tell Riley to not include her in the festivities, but her best friend was adamant that she joined. She even urged the others to make a miracle come true for Maya. At the end, Maya realized how petty she was and thanked her friends for sticking with her. She also acknowledged the fact that she was loved.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 will return in January on Disney.
