'Gotham' season 1 episode 19 spoilers: serial killer Ogre returns; is he with Barbara?

(FOX/Melty)First look of Fish Mooney after she removes her eye using a spoon.

"Gotham" went on a month-long hiatus and left fans raring for the season to come back. TVLine announced last month that actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who portrays fan-favorite Fish Mooney, is leaving the show since the actress was signed on for only one season.

When fans last saw her, she used a spoon to remove her eye so that it wouldn't be transplanted by the Dollmaker. The first photos of episode 19 titled "Beasts Of Prey" shows her sporting an orb in place of the eye she carved out. Looks like the Doctor put it in its place, but how will Jada Pinkett Smith's character exit the show? It seems her character may die or go to jail, since either possibilities seem most probable now that she is stuck on the island with unwilling organ donors.

Melty reports that serial killer Jason Lennon, aka the Ogre, kisses Barbara Keen, Jim Gordon's ex-fiancée. Does that mean she is his next victim or that he is using her in some way? "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia essays the role of the Ogre and is signed up for a three-episode arc which means he could play a crucial role in the finale. Meanwhile, Melty reports that Bruce and Selina are inching closer to discovering the truth about Wayne Enterprises. While they do so, Jim and Harvey are redoubling their efforts to bring the Ogre to justice.

While most know that Fish Mooney may die or go to jail, speculations are pegging another character's death in the season finale. CaterMatt guessed that while Harvey Bullock may be a candidate, it seems unlikely that they would kill off his character. Underneath layers of cynicism lies a man with a heart of gold. Oswald is another likely candidate since he has a strong presence on the show. Who will be killed off and what is the Ogre's move with Jim's ex-fiancée? Find out as "Gotham" returns on April 13 on FOX.
