In the new episodes of Grimm, Juliette will find it hard to adjust to her new self as a Hexenbiest as she tries to keep it a secret from Nick.

Grimm will return from its holiday break with new episodes at the end of January, and it will pick up where the fall finale left off. Before the show's break, Monroe was abducted by a group that hates the Wesens, while Wu discovers that there are really Wesens in the world. One of the major cliffhangers before Grimm left for the winter break is Juliette's transformation into a Hexenbiest, and the next episodes will show how Juliette deals with this change.

The actress who plays Juliette, Bitsie Tulloch, talked about her character in an interview with Zap2it, and reveals why Juliette plans to keep her transformation a secret from her love interest, Nick.

"[Becoming a Hexenbiest] is the last thing in the world she wants. It's hard enough for her being as involved as she is with the Grimm stuff," said Tulloch in the interview. Tulloch added that Juliette's kind is what Nick strives to kill, and that the secrecy of her transformation is intended to keep their relationship intact.

"She's the kind of Wesen, or witch rather, that her boyfriend's fate is to kill them, so that's kind of scary and she's obviously going to try to hide it from him while she figures out how to correct it. She's obviously going to try to desperately get back to normal," added the actress in the same Zap2It interview.

In the real world, Tulloch would rather be truthful to her boyfriend than hide something so drastic, but shares that she understands her character's decision since it's too "shocking" and "weird."

"I think it's honestly just too shocking and too weird for her, and she's scared. She doesn't know. This isn't like anything, and they've dealt with so much, but this is not like anything they've ever gone through," explained the actress.

Grimm returns on January 16, 2015.
