'Grimm' season 6 finale spoilers: Nick faces the most powerful enemy at the end of the series
The six-season run of "Grimm" will officially conclude at the end of March with the episode titled "The End," but Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and his friends will still find themselves in deep trouble in the remaining episodes of the season.
During an interview with IGN, actor Reggie Lee teased that fans of the series should expect to "get a lot of answers" toward the end of the show.
"I'm sure there are going to be some things where the fans are going to be like, 'What happened with that?' They really tie a lot of things up," the actor who portrays the role of Sergeant Drew Wu in the series stated. "It's been a lot of fun. A lot of things have been tied up, but not in a bow. Everyone should be nervous, because a lot of s--t happens."
The series finale will bring Nick face-to-face with the most powerful enemy that he has ever encountered to date, since no weapon can reportedly destroy it.
According to the synopsis for the finale, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner), and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) will try to look for answers at the Spice Shop to help Nick in his battle. This will lead them to discover a very rare potion that Nick can use to defeat his enemy.
Meanwhile, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind (Claire Coffee) will work together to keep their daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) and Kelly, Adalind's baby with Nick, safe from the enemy since it directly threatens the kids. But can they really keep them safe if the threat is a very dangerous enemy?
Tulloch also hinted about a highly emotional ending for "Grimm" at the end of season 6 in an interview with Syfy Wire. According to the actress, fans should prepare boxes of tissues while watching the show's last two episodes.
"They will tear everyone's hearts asunder, and then yes — it being a show based on fairy tales, I think people will like the way it ends. It's a mostly happy ending (it can't be completely happy — it is Grimm after all). There are a few things that are slightly open-ended, so it feels like everyone wins," Tulloch stated.
The series finale of "Grimm" will air on NBC on Friday, March 31, at 8 p.m. EST.
