'Grimm' season 6 spoilers: Monroe's baby pivotal in fight against Renard
Rosalee's (Bree Turner) baby may turn out to be the wild card they need to overcome Renard (Sasha Roiz) and the Black Claw in the upcoming season of "Grimm."
As per News Everyday, the hybrid child of Rosalee and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) may turn out to be the strongest of them all. The baby's power will reportedly rival that of Adalind's (Claire Coffee) children.
Fans of the series witnessed Diana's (Hannah R. Loyd) terrifying power last installment when she killed Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) without even touching him. The kid is lethal and highly unstable. Because of her age, she is easily influenced by her father who wants nothing but to see the end of Nick (David Giuntoli).
Previously, it has been revealed that Rosalee's pregnancy would progress slowly. Because of the news that NBC would not be renewing the show for another season, there might be changes in the storyline. There are even talks of a spinoff about Rosalee and Monroe as they leave Portland for a new life somewhere else. Chances are, Rosalee will be giving birth soon and her baby will play a pivotal role in their fight against Renard and the Black Claw.
Turner previously revealed in an interview with Showbiz Junkies that she still does not know what kind of creature the kid would be, considering that both the parents are Wesens. She also said that what Rosalee wants above all is to have a quiet life with her family, away from the danger that Black Claw brings. The actress even hinted that her character and her husband might want to leave town and escape. She said that the baby's safety is their number one priority.
"I think Rosalee wants to escape. I think the pressure of bringing a child into this unknown, scary space where they're now totally exposed as a couple where they kind of want to live a quiet life, go under the radar – kind of just not be the face of any movement and now they're Enemy Number One to Black Claw – I think that's really scary to Rosalee and Monroe. ... Is it going to be a hybrid? Is one species going to dominate? I don't know," Turner teased, according to the media outlet.
