iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak enables Cydia software to run on Apple devices; how to download
Pangu Jailbreak evaded Apple's security measures once again as another user has successfully accessed Cydia using iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak.
Value Walk reported that Chinese national Min Zheng — a senior security researcher at Alibaba — has posted a video showing Cydia successfully installed on an iPhone. He is the second individual to do so after Italian developer Luca Tedesco, who first installed the software earlier this month.
Pangu is also responsible for launching iOS jailbreaks 9.3.2 and 9.3.3. iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak is downloadable on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, the iPad Mini, iPad Air 2, and the iPod Touch. The jailbreak is specifically made to allow device users to download Cydia and avail of the software's apps and themes.
Downloading iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak is easy. First, the user has to sign up, after which he or she will have to log in. After accessing the exclusive Members only area, there will be different software to choose from, along with easy to follow instructions. Support staff is even available should the user need help in using the jailbreak.
On iOS 9 devices, iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak is untethered. This means rebooting devices with successfully installed iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak will no longer need the aid of a computer.
However, Apple has recently launched measures to counter the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak which makes it harder for device owners to let iOS 9.3.4 work. Some Apple users have complained that the measure taken against the previous jailbreak has made operating iOS 9.3.4 harder.
Although Zheng shared the video demo just a day before, he did not share the steps to successfully download Cydia and make the app work on the iPhone device he used.
Apple has not yet released a statement regarding the newest Pangu jailbreak.
