'iZombie' season 3 cast news: Jason Dohring joins the upcoming season
Actor Jason Dohring will be joining the cast of "iZombie" season 3, but he won't be appearing until the eighth episode of the season.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Dohring will play the role of Chase Graves and, as his name suggests, he will be part of the Fillmore Graves hierarchy. He is the brother-in-law of Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage) who will be the next season's main antagonist.
Vivian and the Fillmore Graves concept have already been introduced in the previous season. For a quick recap, she is the new owner of Vaughn Du Clark's (Steven Weber) company, Max Rager, and she saved Liv (Rose McIver), Clive (Malcolm Goodwin), and Major (Robert Buckley) during the finale. She has also expressed her desire to make Seattle a safe haven for zombies and has asked Liv to join her.
Whether Liv joins her or not is something viewers will have to find out when the next season unfolds.
As for what season 3 has in store, Inquisitr quotes showrunner Rob Thomas as revealing that Liv will be lucky in love, but it does not mean she will end up with the guy who survived the previous season. Her romance with Major will not last, but how it does is something to look forward to.
Liv will also face the consequences of eating the brain of a dominatrix and adapting the qualities of that dominatrix may last for more than just one episode.
While rumors that a crossover between "iZombie" and "Fear the Walking Dead" is happening have made the rounds, the publication notes that it is not likely. The rumors stemmed from a playful exchange on social media.
Furthermore, the two shows come from different networks and, while they have a similar zombie theme, they belong to different show genres.
"iZombie" season 3 does not have a playdate yet, but has already been announced to premiere next year.
