The recent episode of CBS' "MacGyver," titled "Flashlight," saw Mac (Lucas Till) and Jack (George Eads) in an exciting crossover episode with two cast members from "Hawaii Five-O" that include Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Kono (Grace Park). Mac and Jack set out for Hawaii for a relief effort after an earthquake hit the island. Interestingly, the character crossover of both TV shows may not be the last fans will see.

Showrunner Peter Lenkov, who was previously the executive producer of the hit TV series "CSI: NY," was able to successfully do a triple crossover with characters from "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: Las Vegas" according to Parade. While the logistics of doing what his team did with the three "CSI" shows seem like a nightmare, the bottom line is that it did happen. Knowing Lenkov's knack from crossovers, it is believed that he will attempt to do more of it with "MacGyver."

"We did a three-way crossover between all of the CSIs, and that was one of my favorite experiences, to see these iconic characters working together. So yeah, that would be supercool," Lenkov told TV Line.

There are also rumors that a possible meeting between "Hawaii Five-O's" Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and "MacGyver's" Jack will take place in future episode as it has been established during the former's seventh season that the two are connected. Interestingly, both characters are sporting broken hearts. In the same Parade article, Lenkov revealed that the two characters' broken hearts is a good dramatic plot point for fans to watch out for.

Meanwhile, it is also believed that a crossover might take place between "MacGyver" and the cast of "NCIS." Lenkov and CBS have yet to comment on this highly exciting possibility.

In the recent crossover, both Mac and Jack help Kono and Chin out to rescue a group of government scientists who got trapped inside a building after the earthquake took place. What made it more interesting is that a group of opportunists used the catastrophe as a camouflage in order to steal top secret weapons created by the government.

"MacGyver" airs every Friday at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS. "Hawaii Five-O" follows the show at 9 p.m.
