'Naruto Shippuden' episode 469 spoilers: series back to main storyline
There is good news to avid "Naruto Shippuden" fans as the upcoming episode 469 of the anime may no longer feature the backstory of Ashura and Indra. According to reports, the filler story has already delivered its purpose of enlightening the viewers on the history of the animosity between the Senju and Uchiha clans.
Various reports claim that the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden" 469 will go back to the main Naruto storyline. If reports are true, many Naruto fans will finally be relieved that the Ashura-Indra subplot has finally concluded and the anime series will run on a storyline that its avid viewers have faithfully followed.
According to Game N Guide, many fans of the anime couldn't help but notice that the past episode of "Naruto Shippuden" was forced, and it was obvious that the story of Ashura and Indra was only there to augment the anime series and develop the said characters. Reportedly, the production decided to cut the story arc short, and will proceed with the main storyline of the anime. With this, it is now speculated that the upcoming episode 469 of "Naruto Shippuden" will cast the spotlight on the members of Team 7 in an episode titled "A Special Mission."
Based on the released teaser video of "Naruto Shippuden" episode 469, fans can, indeed, expect the anime to be back to the path identified with Naruto. In the said video, the show's main protagonists can be seen garbed in their respective classic costumes, something that reminds the fans why they've always loved and remained faithful to "Naruto" in spite of the filler episodes that the series airs.
Unlike the just-shown episode 468, which was not released on its original date of July 14 but was aired on July 21, instead, the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden 469 will air as originally scheduled this July 28. It will be followed by episode 470 a week later, Aug. 4.
