Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey interview: 'Nothing but the best,' works on covering up 'Mariah' tattoo
Nick Cannon has been having appearances and interviews left and right since his break-up with Mariah Carey. In an interview with gossip show, Extra, Cannon speaks about his 'Mariah' tattoo and reveals that he is taking everything 'day by day,' wishing all the best for his famous ex-wife.
"I'm just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day," the 34-year-old actor and producer told Extra.
Cannon then added that he simply wishes "nothing but the best" to the 'Butterfly' singer.
Cannon was also spotted with a new tattoo that looks like a cover-up for his 'Mariah' tattoo. The X-Factor host reveals that the tattoo was not supposed to be seen by the public or photographed yet since it requires more sittings.
"It's not finished yet. It wasn't supposed to be revealed yet... I had just gotten it done, it was painful...It hurt a lot and I'm still not finished, I'm still probably like six more sessions away" Cannon said, referring to the tattoo.
US Weekly first reported the troubles in Cannon and Carey's marriage back in August.
Days later, Cannon confirmed the rumors by saying that they have been living in separate houses for a few months since news of their separation broke out to the media.
"There is trouble in paradise," said Cannon in a statement to US Weekly, adding, "We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
