The Whole Cake Island is already prepared for the wedding and it looks like Big Mom is making sure that everything will go as planned. Will the wedding push through? Or will the face between Big Mom and Luffy happen?

The previous chapter has shown how Big Mom's dedication to the wedding preparations. It was also shown that she was particularly looking after the cake in which some have died protecting. Many of the fans speculate that the cake may be a bomb or a poison that she has been creating in case unlikely events occur.

Furthermore, she is already aware of the presence of Luffy and the Straw Hats crew. Has she known they will come all along? Is the long-awaited face-off between Luffy and Big Mom happening in the next chapter? Also, how did she know about their arrival?

There are two easy suspects. One could be Lady Pudding, the café owner who lied to the police officer in order to free Luffy and Chopper. While she was nice and happy to see them appreciate her creations, she is still a resident of Big Mom's territory. The Straw Hats introduced themselves to her after all before they left. Another suspect could be the yet-unnamed man who approached Pekoms. While Pekoms asked him to be quiet about his presence he could be someone who cannot be trusted.

Or could it be the brothers of Sanji, Yonji, and Reiju who have been vocal about opposing the wedding? They pretended not to see the Straw Hats despite bumping into them but they could be the ones to tell Big Mom, in order to take her mind off the wedding.

Other speculations regarding episode 827 suggest the return of Absalom and Moria. It is also speculated that while Absalom will seek to form alliance with Luffy, Moria will work on gaining Big Mom's favor.
