Alison (Sasha Pieterse) will continue to believe that her hallucinations about her dead mother and the others are true in the seventh season of the hit series "Pretty Little Liars."

During the last installment's finale, a confused Ali asked her best friend and ex-lover Emily (Shay Mitchell) to help her out. The blonde got herself admitted to a psychiatric facility, thinking that she was indeed going crazy. In truth, it was her new husband Elliott (Huw Collins) who was slowly turning her mad. He was conspiring with Charlotte's (Vanessa Ray) mother, Mary (Andrea Parker) to get back at all the people who had a hand in his dead girlfriend's death.

Pieterse told TV Line that season 7 would not treat her character well. She said that Alison would still have no idea about Elliot's true colors. If there was one thing that she could be happy about, it was Emily's complete devotion to make her well again. The actress said that she has heard that the fans ship "Emison" and could not wait to see them back together. Pieterse also shared her hopes that the two characters would soon have a reunion.

"There's always hope for 'Emison.' To be honest, though, I don't know how long it's going to take Alison to find out [about Elliott.] I can say that she's going to go crazy this season, absolutely bonkers. Everybody wants them together, right? 'Emison' End Game! ... Honestly, though, I'm all for it. The fans really love 'Emison,'" Pieterse said.

Meanwhile, executive producer I. Marlene King told Variety that the upcoming season would give all the missing details about the new villain Uber A. She said that there would be a lot of hints scattered throughout the installment, which lead to the ultimate revelation. The EP also shared that if viewers got a huge shock during the season 6 finale, it would be nothing to what they have in store for them in the next finale.
