'Prison Break' season 5 spoilers: plot to incorporate terrorism in upcoming season?
Following his on-set accident that cost him a few days off production, Dominic Purcell is back and shared some bits of the things that fans will see once "Prison Break" season five premieres.
Over a week ago, Purcell, who plays Lincoln in the series, caught an iron bar straight to his skull and had to get stitches. His nose was also broken and his head received 150 stitches. Aside from the head stitches, his left elbow also needed 20 stitches and he obtained minor cuts all around his face and arms.

Purcell starts filming this Monday and has never been so ecstatic to share some hints about the plot of the new season where fans will hopefully see Lincoln and Michael's (Wentworth Miller) much anticipated reunion.
In an interview with Deadline on Saturday, Purcell revealed that some storylines in season five will be relatable for many viewers who watched the ISIS and ISA headlines on TV and news stands. "It's tying into what's going on in the world today with terrorism. The show is taking place in Yemen; we're dealing with ISIS and ISA...honestly, the fans are going to be blown away by this...it looks like a cross between 'Bourne Identity' and 'American Sniper.' It's crazy. It's really, really cool," he said of the reboot.
The actor went on to reveal that the story will indeed pick up where Michael was presumed to be dead years ago. Michael will live on to work for a mysterious organization, but when he no longer has the will to do as he is told, he will be thrown into prison so he will hopefully change his mind and continue the dirty work.
When asked to detail the scenes he was shooting when the accident happened, Purcell revealed that Lincoln was rushing into a Yemeni prison to look for his brother. The episode features the Yemeni regime in its fallen state and the gates to the prison had been opened.
As Lincoln was going through the chaotic mess and couldn't seem to find Michael, a falling iron bar hit his head hard and a cage of iron bars followed as he hit the floor. While Purcell still has a few scars to mark the incident, the make-up team will cover up as much as they can for him to be able to shoot sequences.
