In the eighth and final episode, Cleaver (Richard Roxburgh) will have a shift in career, but David (Matt Day) steps in to interfere with his plans. Cleaver also wants to make sure he wins back the affection of his ex-wife Wendy (played by Caroline Brazier), who is now with Jack (Tasma Walton). Jack won't allow Cleaver to get to Wendy because it is said that he will plan for something that should permanently get the barrister out of Wendy's life.

They plan to announce their reunion once they get home but it seems that their news won't be the only surprise.
