Three episodes into "Ray Donovan" season 4 and viewers can already see that Ray is already taxed beyond measure. How will the infamous "Fixer" protect his family from the people out to get them? And how will he continue to keep them safe when Mickey is planning another one of his schemes?

The previous episode saw Ray (Liev Schreiber) trying to put out several fires at once, from Hector's dilemma with his half-sister Marisol (Lisa Bonet) to setting up Ivan Belikov (Pasha Lychnikoff) to get his father Mickey (Jon Voight) out of Detective Muncie's (Michael Hyatt) clutches. Unfortunately, Ray might have solved these problems, but they're just temporary fixes.

Chickens will be coming home to roost in episode 3. Titled "Little Bill Primm's Big Green Horseshoe," the episode will find the Donovan family victimized by a home intruder. The attack forces the family to remain closer together, causing complications for Ray's daughter, Bridget (Kerris Dorsey), and his brothers and their families. And to make things worse, Mickey is planning to rob the casino of a local legend, the aforementioned Little Bill Primm (Ted Levine). The situation with the family appears to be really serious, as Ray visits Belikov in prison, in order to strike a deal that would keep his family safe.

A trailer for the upcoming episode starts with Ray walking through his house when he notices that the French doors are ajar. A longer look at the scene shows how he was able to subdue the armed intruder, as well as shots of Abby (Paula Malcomson) panicking as she tries to get the gun out of the lock box. Ray is later seen talking to his wife and telling her that he's "going to make this right," but that they can't stay there. She demands that Ray tell her the truth of what's happening, but it's unlikely that he'll come clean to her.

Meanwhile, Mickey is seen wearing night vision googles as he explains the plan of his latest heist. A sneak peek of the scene shows the Donovan patriarch asking his cohort about people who can help them steal the Big Green Horseshoe that's reportedly filled with millions in cash. The latter half of the trailer shows Ray aggressively looking for answers as to who's targeting his family. As it turns out, Belikov's men saw Ray working out his deal with Muncie and now they want payback. The clip ends with a desperate Ray talking to Belikov in prison and asking what he needs to do to ensure his family's safety.

With the way things stand, Belikov is in the position to demand something major from Ray. But is he willing to pay it?

Showtime will be airing episode 3 of "Ray Donovan" season 4 on July 10 at 9 p.m.
