Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date speculations, rumored specs and features

(Samsung website)Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 received favorable reviews upon its release last year and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is speculated to surpass its performance.

A new Samsung Galaxy Tab has been making the rumor rounds for quite some time, and while Samsung has yet to make an official announcement, new rumors suggest that Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be released in September. Supposed features of the upcoming gadget have also been reported.

Samsung has been known to release new products in July. Last year, however, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was released in September, and after enjoying successive sales for months, their competitor Apple dominated the tablet sales scene once again. This coming September, Galaxy Tab S3 is believed to once again take the gadget market by storm.

Early this year, a website that tracks import and export movements in India revealed that two Samsung sample tablets have been imported from South Korea for testing. The samples were labeled SM-T719 and SM-T813 believed to be the Galaxy Tab S3 8-inch and 9-inch, respectively. It was followed by a leaked data on the testing done on the bigger model.

The data shows that SM-T819 has an AMOLED screen with 2,048 x 1,536 display resolution with at least five-finger gesture support. It has the Snapdragon 652 chipset with four Cortex-A72 cores and four A53s. It will also be installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with 3 GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The main camera has 8 megapixels, while the selfie cam has 2 megapixels.

The notable differences between the two models are the size and the battery backup. The data shows that there are improvements that needed to be done, and with the time that has elapsed since, Samsung is expected to have addressed the problems.

Furthermore, known gadget leaker Evan Blass has posted an anonymous tip to what the tablet looks like on June 6. It shows the back part of the tablet and also shows that the tablet comes in black and in white.
