After a short break, CBS' hit action drama TV series "Scorpion" season 2 finally resumes to the airwaves with a brand-new episode that will see Walter and his team racing against the clock in order to save a life of a little girl.

According to the synopsis posted by The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Ticker," Team Scorpion will get wind of the news that the security of a Los Angeles–based blood bank has been compromised and their system hacked. The current situation renders all the blood "unusable" and unsafe for use since as it could have already been tainted.

This inhumane cyber terror attack will send Walter and his team of geniuses, including Toby, Happy, and Sylvester, scuttling to reverse the situation as well as pin down the one who is responsible for the hacking.

As if the crisis won't be enough to make everyone occupied, the summary also tells that they will have to accomplish the mission the soonest possible because a life of a young girl is at stake. The poor patient, as revealed, is in desperate need of a heart transplant and part of the whole surgery procedure are bags of blood.

The press release meanwhile states that "Saturday Night Live" alum Horatio Sanz will guest star as Heywood "Jahelpme" Morris in the said episode. He will be portraying the role of an attorney. The character's details are yet to be revealed, but it looks like he could be working for the Scorpion team and the little girl. Speaking of new cast members, "Hart of Dixie" alum Scott Porter is also coming to the show as Agent Cabe Gallo's (Robert Partick) newest recruit on Walter's team.

"Scorpion" season 2 features the acts of Elyes Gabel (Walter), Katharine McPhee (Paige), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Toby), Jadyn Wong (Happy), and Ari Stidham (Sylvester).

"Ticker" premieres this Monday, Mar. 14 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
