Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and his new partner Diana Thomas (Janina Gavankar) will finally shed more light on Malcolm Dreyfuss' (Jeremy Davies) suspicious character in the next episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4.

The trailer for the upcoming episode, titled "Blood From a Stone," shows that the past will catch up with the self-centered billionaire when his former partner, who he used to believe was already dead, suddenly appears to haunt him.

It seems like Malcolm's ex pal will return with vengeance in mind since he will cause a lot of trouble that will affect the former. His ties with the supernatural will also be revealed because of his partner's rise from the dead.

However, the trailer does not reveal the reason why the "violent deranged warlock" that used to be connected to Malcolm became angry at him in the first place. Yet, Diana appears to be the one in the receiving end of his former partner's wrath, since she seems to be hurt toward the end of the promo video.

The synopsis also states that Malcolm's progress in his secret mission will be hindered by the return of his former partner who is determined to settle the score between them. Will Ichabod and Diana use this as an opportunity to stop him from executing his mysterious mission?

The upcoming episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will introduce guest stars Kamar de los Reyes as Jobe and Bjorn Dupaty as the character named Ansel.

Aside from Diana, Ichabod will also deal with the upcoming dangers in Washington D.C. with his new crew composed of Alex Norwood (Rachel Melvin) and Jake Wells (Jerry MacKinnon). Oona Yaffe, a former MasterChef Junior contestant, also appears in the series as Diana's daughter Molly.

The next episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will air on FOX on Friday, Feb. 3.
