'Suits' season 6 spoilers: Rachel finally gets to visit Mike in episode 2
Following the epic and mind-blowing finale of "Suits" season five, viewers finally got a first look at Mike last week when the premiere episode of season six aired. Things aren't so good as Mike forgets that he shouldn't trust just anyone.
While Mike (Patrick J. Adams) is in hot water for giving critical information to Frank (Paul Schulze), there might be some good things coming for the faux lawyer as it has been confirmed that he will finally (hopefully) get a glimpse of Rachel (Meghan Markle) in the upcoming episode.
In a recent interview with TV Line, executive producer Aaron Korsh talks about the events that fans will see in episode two of "Suits" season six. "It's interesting that Rachel can't go for a month, but we sort of speak to that a little bit in Episode 2. We will see Rachel go to prison to visit Mike," he said.
On the other hand, the EP clarified, "I'm using those words very carefully," which could possibly hint at Rachel and Mike's first meeting, ever since he stepped into prison, become a disaster. There is a possibility that something comes up as Rachel tries to see Mike, but it's also possible that the two get to see each other for a short time.
Korsh went on to explain that as the season progresses, viewers will see other people in Mike's life paying him a visit. These visits could actually pave the way for Mike to obtain freedom earlier than expected.
Meanwhile, Frank's betrayal was a shocker for many, especially since Mike sincerely thought he found a friend. Design & Trend notes that Harvey (Gabriel Macht) will do anything in his power to get his protégé out of jail in the shortest time possible. However, Frank could play a significant role in keeping that from happening.
As for the remaining people at Pearson Specter Litt, Korsh revealed that the plan they discussed in the first episode will come to play in the next one. Though Louis (Rick Hoffman), Harvey, and Jessica (Gina Torres) are all for using the partner money they have to pay off all the lawsuits filed against them, it has yet to be seen if they will pull it off successfully.
Episode two of "Suits" season six, titled "Accounts Payable," will air on Wednesday, July 20, on the U.S.A. Network.
